St Maarten is the place to be in the Caribbean. There are numerous beaches all over the island that offer clear blue water and pristine white sand beaches. You can watch the planes land at maho beach as the planes come in right over the beach.  On Tuesday nights between January and April Grand Case on the French side have a Mardi Gras night where they close the streets and people eat and party all night long.

At Porto Cupecoy there is an outdoor movie night every monday evening and live music on Wednesday night in the mezzanine. Ernest and Fidel restaurant have live music most nights as well. Simpson’s bay is just a 10 minute drive away and offers night life and alot of restaurants to choose from. There is a casino in cupecoy and a large casino in maho that also offers card games and a poker room.
